Karen to appear in 'Ma, Pa and the Little Mouths'
Karen will soon start rehearsals for 'Ma, Pa and the Little Mouths' playing at the Tron and Traverse Theatre from 3rd May till 19th May, directed by Andy Arnold.

KAREN recently appeared at Ňran Mór and the Traverse Theatre in her play '#71'directed by April Chamberlain.

Karen was last seen playing Francesca Simpson in 'River City' for BBC Scotland.

Shakespeare Trilogy
KAREN DUNBAR appeared in Phyllida Lloyd's 'THE TEMPEST' at St. Ann's Warehouse in Brooklyn, New York. She also appeared in Phyllida Lloyd's 'SHAKESPEARE TRILOGY' for the Donmar Warehouse which played at the new King's Cross Theatre in London.

Karen appeared in 'HENRY IV' directed by Phyllida Lloyd at St. Ann's Warehouse, in New York and played Shirley in 'Priscilla Queen of The Desert' at the Edinburgh Playhouse.

Karen has been named role model of the year at the first Icon Awards in Glasgow on 9th October 2015.

Karen Opens The Commonwealth Games 2014

Karen opened the 20th Commonwealth Games in Glasgow performing to an estimated global audience of 1 billion people. The opening ceremony was a riotous tour through Scotland's culture and achievements, with Karen Dunbar and John Barrowman singing 'Welcome to Scotland'. Karen runs in the Queen's Baton Relay

Karen returned to her native Ayrshire to run a leg on day 32 of the Queen's Baton Relay as it travelled from Skelmorlie to Ardrossan. Huge crowds welcomed the torch as it passed through, with the BBC Scotland's Craig Frew reporting "Karen Dunbar was massive hit with the crowds as she took part in the baton relay in Largs"

Karen played Winnie in Samuel Beckett's 'Happy Days' at The Tron Theatre, Glasgow, directed by Andy Arnold, as part of the Mayfesto festival 2015.

On the 17th April Karen opened this year's 'Aye Write!' talking about the books that have been most important in her life.

Karen to reprise 'Martha' in Can't Forget About You at The Tron in July 2015

Karen reprised her role of 'Martha' in the Lyric Theatre Belfast production of Can't Forget About You which transferred to The Tron Theatre, Glasgow, in July 2015, directed by Conleth Hill.
